Springfield Stars Mathematically Out of Playoffs Sunday, September 3rd, 2023 The Springfield Stars will soon be packing their bags and heading home for the year. This season won't contain a playoff run for the club, as Springfield was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. This is the club's 12th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2012. In total, the Stars have missed the playoffs 14 times in their 16-year history. |
