Calrissian Lose Eugene Gill Monday, August 28th, 2023 "I'm frustrated right now," said Orlando second baseman Eugene Gill. "I can't help this team by sitting on the bench or in the training room." Unfortunately for the Calrissian, that's where he will be spending 6 weeks. Gill suffered a fractured thumb in today's game against Hendersonville while being hit by a pitch. "Believe me," he said, "I won't be out a day longer than I have to be." Gill is hitting .230 this year with 8 home runs and 36 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .298, 24 walks and scored 40 times. |
