Martínez Has Nagging Injury, Listed DTD Wednesday, August 16th, 2023 Is Jorge Martínez going to tough it out and play through an injury? We'll get the chance to find out 1-2 weeks as the outstanding Toronto second baseman attempts to shrug off a bruised knee he sustained being hit by a pitch against the Maui Tropics. Whether the management lets him play or handles him with kid gloves will depend mostly on how Martínez feels on a day-to-day basis. But there's little doubt that the Toronto Titans will be happy for the talented player to return at full strength as soon as possible. To date this season Martínez is hitting .308 with 29 home runs. |
