M3L Mexican Summer League Top Player Is Cannon
Tuesday, September 19th , 2056
The manager of the MSL Buckhead Bowties said he thinks Evan Cannon is only going to get better as he gets older.
He may only be 18, but it will be hard to top the shortstop's 2056 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the M3L Mexican Summer League Most Valuable Player Award.
His winning campaign featured a .356 batting average and a .426 on-base percentage this year. In 48 games he piled up 69 hits, 4 doubles, no triples, 7 home runs, 31 RBIs and 26 runs scored.
He received 12 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Bartolo Bode of the MSL Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC finished second in voting, while José Torres of the MSL Charleston Battery finished third.
