3MSL Reliever of the Year Award Winner Named Friday, September 15th , 2056 Luis Orozco was a calming influence out of the MSL Charleston Battery bullpen this season. His teammates and manager said he had a poised demeanor about him that was typical of someone much older and more experienced. His poise has paid off, as the 18-year-old turned in a sparkling season and has been named the winner of the M3L Mexican Summer League Reliever of the Year Award for 2056. The San Pedro de Macorís, Dominican Republic native won the award with 9 saves in 23 relief appearances, 49 strikeouts in 35 innings and a record of 6-1 to go with his 1.80 ERA. He received 12 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Arturo Canonicca of the MSL Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC finished second in voting, while Luis Medina of the MSL Santa Catalina Condor finished third.
