A reliever is at his best when the game is on the line. The pressure doesn't get to him. Jorge Deleón of the MSL Baltimore Bullets was just that kind of pitcher in 2056 and as a result he has been named the USSL Mexican Summer League Pitcher of the Year Award winner.

Deleón appeared in 16 games and converted 3 saves in 3 save opportunities. The Bullets star had a 4-1 record with a 1.98 ERA. He also chalked up 73 strikeouts and walked 13 in 63.2 innings of work.

He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Addie Uytenhage of the MSL Hollywood Shredders finished second in voting, while Alex Wicksted of the MSL Mississippi Mockingbirds finished third.
