Garza Named Top Reliever for SMSL Friday, September 15th , 2056 Pedro Garza said he thinks hitters often underestimate him, as he's only 17 years old. But he'll certainly be getting a lot more respect now, as the MSL Hollywood Shredders rising star has won the USSL Mexican Summer League Reliever of the Year Award for 2056. He captured the award on the strength of his 0.56 ERA over 32 innings. He also had 1 save in 14 relief appearances, 34 strikeouts and only 13 walks. He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Ron Elst of the MSL Mississippi Mockingbirds finished second in voting, while Lambert Fierant of the MSL Mississippi Mockingbirds finished third.
