King Selected Top Performer in SMSL Monday, August 14th , 2056 The Player of the Week has been chosen by the USSL Mexican Summer League. The award went to Bruce King, shortstop of the MSL Pittsburgh Kingfishers. In a sensational hitting performance, he wrecked league pitchers with a .643 average to win the honor. King went 9-for-14 for the week, totaled 1 home run and 3 RBIs and scored 2 times. King is batting .348 this season in 39 games with 7 home runs, 18 RBIs and 22 runs scored.
