Thrice Is Nice: Acebedo Unloads 3 Homers Wednesday, August 9th , 2056 Andrei-Luiz Acebedo was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the 7-5 MSL Hollywood Shredders triumph at MSL Mississippi Ballpark today. The 18-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Shredders past the MSL Mississippi Mockingbirds. "One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," Acebedo told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate." The first baseman went 4-for-4, rung up 3 RBIs and scored 3 runs on his record-setting day. Andrei-Luiz Acebedo hit a solo-shot off Young-pil Kwon in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Young-pil Kwon in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Arturo Rojas in the 8th. Presently Acebedo is batting .301 and has collected 12 home runs, 25 RBIs, .359 OBP and scored 24 runs. |
