Vandelay on Fire, Named Player of the Week Monday, July 10th , 2056 It was announced today by the USSL Mexican Summer League that MSL Ft. Worth center fielder Art Vandelay had received the Player of the Week Trophy for his superlative play last week. The MSL Ft. Worth center fielder wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers, pounding them for a .667 average (8-for-12) with no home runs and 2 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. This year Vandelay has hit 1 home run and posted a .252 batting average. |
