McCormick August's Best Hurler in PMSL Friday, September 1st , 2056 Chris McCormick of MSL St. Louis had an award-winning August as he took home the USPL Mexican Summer League Pitcher of the Month award. "He told me once people used to make fun of the way he pitches," McCormick's pitching coach told reporters. "There wasn't anybody laughing in August except for Chris." McCormick was all business when he took the mound though, collecting a 3-0 record in 3 starts. He struck out 27 batters in 19.2 innings and kept opponents to a .211 batting average. So far this year McCormick has 7 wins and 3 losses and a 3.15 ERA. |
