Express Arents No-Hits Toros Friday, May 5th , 2056 In a dominant outing, Anthon Arents of the Napanee Express totally silenced the bats of the Tijuana Toros, finishing with a no-hitter. In the Express' 4-0 victory, Arents faced only 29 batters, surrendered no hits, had 12 strikeouts and 2 walks. "Honestly, I didn't even know the situation was what it was until the seventh inning," Napanee manager Dan Bond said. "I happened to look up there to see how many hits we had gotten, and I happened to notice that they hadn't gotten any." Commenting on the defeat, losing manager Milton Mathews told reporters in the clubhouse that he had a "simple" analysis of the game.
