Wednesday, August 16th , 2056
Chris Murton was in a zone of his own most of the day, shutting out the Moose Jaw Canucks on 2 hits.
"He was too darn good for us today," grumbled Moose Jaw manager Bobby Buck after the 6-0 loss to the Greenport Harbor Whales.
Murton finished with 10 strikeouts and no walks in a strong outing.
In the postgame press conference, Greenport manager Dave Lee said Murton "had good velocity, good movement and had those guys off balance. He just pitched his butt off."
This season Murton has worked 143 innings with 168 strikeouts en route to a 12-3 record and a 1.70 ERA.
