Romero Has Hot Hand, Bangs 5 hits Wednesday, August 30th , 2056 It was a high-five day for Ramón Romero, at least for a while. The Amarillo center fielder got plenty of them from his teammates when he reached the five-hit milestone during today's game against the Ballard Beavers, but they were in short supply at the end, as Ballard took a 15-12 win. Romero finished with an impressive 5-for-6 line, but the Warheads couldn't hold off the Beavers. "Ramón was hitting everything," said Warheads manager José López. "It's too bad the other guys couldn't rise to the occasion." Ramón Romero singled in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI triple in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
