Sea Dogs William Chávez Down and Out for Year
Friday, July 28th , 2056
Doctors in Maine said William Chávez might not play anymore this year. The Sea Dogs starting pitcher suffered a damaged elbow ligament during a game against the Crowley Cajuns and will be out for at least 10-11 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season.
This season Chávez has gone 0-1 with an ERA of 4.15, posting 28 strikeouts in 26 innings.
