The Athletic Club KC Academy have officially captured the crown, the 3rd in franchise history. "We've got a team that can do it all and we think do it just as well as anyone in the league," said reliever Chih Hoong. "I hope no one is taking us lightly once the playoffs start." Certainly the team's division crown will garner them a fair bit of respect, as the 69-32 record puts the club in position for the franchise's 2nd USPL Double A championship. "You never get tired of being in the playoffs," said manager Héctor Montoya. "This is what you play for." |
