Loons Trudgeon and Atoms Hawkins Suspended for Fight Monday, September 4th , 2056 Graham Trudgeon of Minnesota and Bruce Hawkins of Bethesda were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Trudgeon will have to miss 5 games for his part in the brawl, while Hawkins was given 6 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. Trudgeon is hitting at a .330 mark this season. His stats show 2 home runs, 17 RBIs and 22 runs scored. He has played 34 games for the Loons. So far this season, Hawkins has logged a 1-1 record with a 2.86 ERA. He has started 6 games, hurled 34.2 innings and registered 12 strikeouts and 11 walks. |
