Brouwers Nabs PAA Weekly Award Monday, August 28th , 2056 Joe Brouwers is respected by most Mercer Island Screaming Eagles fans for his no-frills style of play. The 24-year-old catcher went about his business with vigor last week to grab the USPL Double A Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .714 average (5-for-7) with 1 home run, 2 RBIs and 4 runs scored. This season Brouwers is batting at a .263 clip with 7 home runs and 21 RBIs. |
