Ynegas Tags 3 HR Against Krewe Sunday, August 20th , 2056 Fans are still buzzing after Athletic Club KC Academy whipped the Crescent City Krewe by the score of 8-6 today at KC Academy Field. Claudio Ynegas smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the left fielder bashed out 3 hits in 4 at-bats, had 3 RBIs and scored 3 times. At the postgame press conference, Ynegas said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game. "Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Ynegas said. "Three is just... wow." Claudio Ynegas hit a solo-shot off Tyson Robertson in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Tyson Robertson in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Geoffrey Mills in the 7th and flied out in the 8th. Ynegas has a .338 average and a .388 on-base percentage for the year. He has picked up 105 hits, 23 home runs and driven in 59 runs. |
