Cantú Selected SAA's Top Player Wednesday, October 11th , 2056 Ricardo Cantú of the Olympia Ogres had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Outstanding Hitter Award for 2056. The 23-year-old left fielder put up a .290 average and a .369 on-base percentage, piling up 108 hits, 19 doubles, 2 triples, 20 home runs, 73 RBIs and 51 runs scored. He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Logan Rice of the Pine Island Dolphins finished second in voting, while Sammy Baldwin of the Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas finished third.
