SAA Presents Top Pitcher Trophy Tuesday, October 10th , 2056 The USSL Double A announced today that Jesús Sánchez has been chosen the Outstanding Pitcher Award winner for 2056. The Chesapeake starter had everything working for him this past season as he breezed to a 9-3 record. In his award-winning season Sánchez crafted a 1.65 ERA in 103.1 innings with 74 strikeouts and 25 walks. Opposing batters hit .247 against him in his 16 starts. He received 5 first place votes out of a possible 10. Diego Pounds of the Pine Island Dolphins finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while Michael Poe of the Olympia Ogres finished third with 2 first place votes.
