Shepherd Red-Hot, SAA Player of the Week Monday, September 11th , 2056 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the USSL Double A, but last week Richard Shepherd of the St. Petersburg Thunder reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Shepherd rocked opposing pitching for a .429 average (6-for-14), 1 home run and 3 RBIs to come away with the award. In 2056 Shepherd has hit at a .277 clip with 101 hits, 8 home runs, 41 RBIs and has scored 39 times. |
