Li 5-for-5 for Ft. Polk South Sunday, September 3rd , 2056 Qing-lai Li was at the head of a Ft. Polk South hit parade today at Goodyear Hanger Dome. The shortstop went to the plate 5 times and came away with 5 hits, sparking the Thunder Hawks to a 13-5 victory over the Pine Island Dolphins. "I told the guys in the dugout, just be thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere," the sweet-swinging Li told reporters after the game. "Seems like it worked out well for us today." Dolphins skipper Ángel Rosa said later that the club gave up "too much plate." "Not the way we planned it," he said. "Every hitter in the league will rip you when you do that." Qing-lai Li hit a solo-shot off Gabriel Salas in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 5th, walked in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Ijsbert Pelikaan in the 9th.
