Campbell Cops #1 Pitcher Award in August Friday, September 1st , 2056 Howard Campbell of the Pine Island Dolphins outdistanced his peers on the mound this month. He fashioned a fine 4-1 won-lost mark and 2.16 ERA in 5 starts to get the USSL Double A Pitcher of the Month honors. Campbell had a very impressive August, finishing with 26 strikeouts in 33.1 innings and holding opposing hitters to a .244 average. Campbell has made 19 starts, tossed 100.1 innings, struck out 96 batters and walked 47. His record is 10-5 with a 4.22 ERA and he has limited other teams to a .236 batting average. |
