Gwinnett Star, Outstanding Pitcher Award Winner Monday, October 9th , 2056 Brody Avery of the Gwinnett Guinea Pigs dazzled the M3L Double A in 2056, stacking up win after win, finishing the season with 13 victories and 6 losses -- numbers good enough to reap the M3L Double A Outstanding Pitcher Award. He made 22 starts, hurled 163.1 innings, yielded 115 hits, struck out 211 batters, walked 20 and ended up with a 2.48 ERA. Opposing teams hit .194 against him. He received 12 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Quincy Rose of the Marquette Miners finished second in voting, while Ken O'Neal of the Gwinnett Guinea Pigs finished third.
