Lake Murray Third Baseman Picked 3AA Player of the Week Monday, August 28th , 2056 Carl Wilson must have thought he was dreaming. First he went on an exceptional week-long batting spree, bashing the ball at a .444 clip, then the Lake Murray third baseman finds out he has been chosen the league's best performer and gets the 3AA Player of the Week Award. He told BNN reporters in the postgame, "It was a great week for me. I could see the ball so well. Plus some of the balls seemed to have good eyes, too." For the week Wilson batted .444 (8-for-18) with 2 home runs and 2 RBIs. Currently Wilson has 5 home runs and a .279 batting average. |
