Eberflus, Green Suspended for Fracas Friday, August 25th , 2056 If there wasn't a history between Getsy Eberflus of Arizona and Steve Green of Barton Springs, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 4 and 6 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Eberflus said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." On the season, Eberflus is batting .187 with 10 home runs and 30 RBIs. He has played in 69 games. |
