Pérez 3AA's Best of the Week Monday, July 3rd , 2056 23-year-old Enrique Pérez made a few Casper headlines during this past week as the rookie catcher proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and M3L Double A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 5 hits in 7 at-bats to put up a .714 average. Pérez collected 1 home run, 2 RBIs and scored 3 runs. For the season Pérez has produced 24 hits in 91 at-bats for a .264 average with 2 home runs and gotten on base at a .343 clip. |
