Hitting Streak Still Alive for Mora Saturday, June 24th , 2056 The Lancaster Farmers fell to the Lake Murray MotorBoaters in Farmers Field today, even as 23-year-old center fielder Miguel Mora upped his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games. Mora finished with 2 hits in 6 at-bats, but could not stop the Farmers from dropping the 4-2 decision. "Yeah, I kept my streak going, but it would have been better to come away with a win," said Mora. Miguel Mora singled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 7th, grounded out in the 9th, grounded out in the 11th and grounded out in the 14th. Mora is currently batting .275 with 1 home run, 17 RBIs and 18 runs scored. He has 41 hits in 149 at-bats. |
