Miller Grabs SAAA Outstanding Pitcher Award Sunday, October 8th , 2056 The Monongahela Monsters have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's Richard Miller, this year's USSL Triple A Outstanding Pitcher Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Miller compiled a 7-7 record in 23 starts, tallied 202 strikeouts in 131.1 innings and recorded a 1.92 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .170 batting average against him. He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Cenek Stensel of the Kansas Rainbeaus finished second in voting, while Tony Correa of the Tortolita Drummers finished third.
