Tortolita Drummers Capture SL AAA Championship Sunday, September 24th , 2056 It was a hard-fought battle for both teams to make it this far. But as the saying goes, "to the victors go the spoils." For the victorious Tortolita Drummers, that meant the USSL Triple A SL AAA Championship trophy. The Drummers took a 5-2 victory over the Alaskan Humpbacks at Sea World, winning their 9th championship after taking the series 2-1. "We've got grit," said Drummers second baseman Atticus Sappington, who was named MVP of the series. "We know how to win when we have to."
