Star of the Week Picked in SAAA Monday, August 21st , 2056 Anastasio Estrada must have thought he was in seventh heaven this week. First he went on a sensational hitting spree, belting the ball at a .714 pace, then the Monongahela second baseman finds out he has been selected the top performer and gets the USSL Triple A Player of the Week Award. Asked what his hitting philosophy was, Estrada quipped to the BNN reporters, "Well, my theory of hitting is to just watch the ball as it comes in and hit it." It was a good week's work for Estrada. He hit .714 average (10-for-14) with no home runs and 2 RBIs. This season Estrada is hitting .267 with 68 hits, 6 home runs, 26 RBIs, scored 26 runs and played in 67 games. |
