McCarthy Is SAAA's Best Pitcher in June Saturday, July 1st , 2056 The Pitcher of the Month Award has been announced and the USSL Triple A winner is Sunset District bullpen ace, Spencer McCarthy. For his fine efforts in June he has been named the league's top pitcher. During the month, the Fog star excelled with 5 saves in 5 save opportunities, a 1.80 ERA and 2 wins and 1 loss. In 15 innings he struck out 15 and gave up 12 hits and 6 walks. To this point in the season, McCarthy has rung up 7 saves in 12 relief appearances. He has also crafted a 1.59 ERA, 2 wins and 1 loss and 16 strikeouts in 17 innings. |
