Roberto Esparza Lost for Season Monday, September 18th , 2056 Roberto Esparza has to call it a season. The Calgary Lynx starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Milton Dogfish Head and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Esparza was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn rotator cuff and stated that he would not be able to play for 12-13 months. Thus far this season Esparza has posted a 6-8 record, started 19 games, struck out 91 batters in 104 innings and compiled a 4.24 ERA. |
