Year Over for Flyers Manning Thursday, September 14th , 2056 The season is finished for Rex Manning of the Pennsauken Flyers. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Flyers starting pitcher suffered radial nerve compression while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Milton Dogfish Head. Team doctors said it would take at least 6 months to heal. This season Manning has a 1-2 record with a 4.81 ERA in 15 starts. |
