PAAA Pitcher of the Month Goes to Newman Friday, September 1st , 2056 The Pitcher of the Month Award has been announced and the USPL Triple A winner is Athletic Club KC bullpen ace, Anthony Newman. For his fine efforts in August he has been named the league's top pitcher. During the month, the Reserves star excelled with no saves in no save opportunities, a 2.75 ERA and 4 wins and no losses. In 39.1 innings he struck out 43 and gave up 45 hits and 9 walks. Newman's record this year is 7-and-7 with no saves and a 4.78 ERA. He has given up 154 hits in 122.1 innings with 120 strikeouts. |
