Pennsauken Relief Star Selected Best Pitcher Tuesday, August 1st , 2056 Anthony Carney doesn't think about his career all that much. He doesn't fixate on yesterday and he doesn't worry about next season -- he has learned to worry only about today. That attitude, coupled with 8 saves in 12 relief appearances netted the 31-year-old reliever July's USPL Triple A Pitcher of the Month trophy earlier today. The Pennsauken reliever pitched 11 innings, struck out 7 and walked 3 on the way to a 3-1 mark and a 4.91 ERA. This season Carney has made 30 relief appearances with 17 saves. His won-lost record is 4-7 with a 5.72 ERA. |
