Vowles Week's Best in PAAA Monday, July 10th , 2056 Joseph Vowles must have thought he was dreaming. First he went on an exceptional week-long batting spree, bashing the ball at a .400 clip, then the Baton Rouge left fielder finds out he has been chosen the league's best performer and gets the PAAA Player of the Week Award. He told BNN reporters in the postgame, "It was a great week for me. I could see the ball so well. Plus some of the balls seemed to have good eyes, too." For the week Vowles batted .400 (6-for-15) with 5 home runs and 9 RBIs. Thus far this season Vowles has hit .226 with 14 home runs, 33 RBIs and scored 33 times. |
