Season Over for Nicolas Gomes in Hartford Saturday, June 3rd , 2056 Nicolas Gomes will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Hartford reliever could miss the remainder of the year. Gomes was injured while throwing a pitch in the Pride-Brass clash at Brass Field recently. Doctors said he has a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and would be out a minimum of 9 months. To date this year Gomes has saved 0 games while tossing 16 innings. He has a 5.06 ERA, fanned 7 batters and made 8 relief appearances. |
