Horne Goes Deep 3 Times
Monday, May 29th , 2056
Tucker Horne went on an explosive hitting spree against the Hartford Pride at Pride Park today, launching a trio of blasts to lead the Pennsauken Flyers to the 8-3 win.
The left fielder finished 4-for-4 with 3 runs scored and 3 RBI.
"It was just one of those days," Horne said in a postgame interview. "I don't know how to explain it. I'm just putting a good swing on the ball."
Hartford skipper Terry King said Horne was "locked-in."
"We made some pretty good pitches," he said. "Those first two homers were exactly where the pitcher wanted to put them. He's just hot right now -- you've just got to tip your hat to him."
Tucker Horne hit a solo-shot off Mark Hogan in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Mark Hogan in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Dusty McKee in the 6th and doubled in the 8th.
Currently Horne is batting .259 with 3 home runs and 3 RBIs.
