Disaster Announce Stevens Will Retire Thursday, May 18th , 2056 Marvin Stevens said he's proud of what he's accomplished in professional baseball and he's now comfortable walking away from the sport. The Port Royal Disaster reliever announced today that this season will be his last. "It's Freedom 37," he joked with reporters. "I'm happy to get out now and am looking forward to enjoying retirement." In his 88-game career Stevens has been credited with 10 wins, 16 losses and 5 saves. His ERA stands at 4.34, and he has fired third strikes past 186 batters in 282 innings while giving up 156 walks. |
