Ellenburg Manager Burgos Thrown Out at Home Tuesday, October 24th , 2056 Ellenburg has fired manager Álex Burgos. "We were not doing the things you've got to do every day," Fighting Dachshunds general manager told reporters. "We saw that things were not going to change. We had huge expectations coming into the season and we did not live up to them." The current coaching staff will be assigned to run the ballclub in the interim until a new manager can be hired. Burgos was told of his dismissal yesterday morning and was not available for comment. The Ellenburg spokesman called it a "sensitive and emotional" meeting with Burgos -- and would not discuss whether Burgos would be offered another job in the Fighting Dachshunds system. |
