Jeff Austin Injured, Out for Season Thursday, September 14th , 2056 The season is apparently over for Jeff Austin. The Santa Barbara Golden Cranes medical staff informed the club that the second baseman will be out at least 7 months with a torn anterior cruciate ligament. Austin was hurt in the game against Jersey City while running the bases. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. In his season totals, Austin has no home runs, .207 BA, .325 OBP, 9 RBIs and 20 runs scored. He has played in 60 games. |
