Season Over for Felipe Croonenborgh in Hamilton

Felipe Croonenborgh has to call it a season. The Hamilton Thunderbirds reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Salt Lake City Buzz and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Croonenborgh was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn labrum and stated that he would not be able to play for 11 months.
So far this season, Croonenborgh has a 1-0 won-lost record with 1 save. He has made 14 relief appearances, logged 32.1 innings and fanned 34 batters while fashioning a 6.12 ERA and allowing the opposition a .248 batting average.
