Rowdy Players Suspended by League Sunday, August 20th , 2056 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Jersey City-Ellenburg contest at Jersey City Grounds. The Tritons Ramón Galló and the Fighting Dachshunds Anastasio Ayala will have to sit out 4 and 2 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. Galló is currently batting .200 with 2 home runs and 9 RBIs. Ayala has taken the hill for 6 relief appearances this season, nailing down 1 save while notching a 2-6 record with a 5.12 ERA. The Ellenburg reliever has limited opposing batters to a .302 batting average. |
