3AAA's Top Starter is Middleton Wednesday, September 1st , 2055 In August, Nick Middleton tore through the M3L Triple A like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 24 years old. The young Santa Barbara starter posted a 5-0 mark and an ERA of 2.10 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 34.1 innings he collected 30 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .177 average. This season-to-date, Middleton has fashioned a 11-6 mark and 2.51 ERA in 111 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .191 against him and he has logged 94 strikeouts. |
