3L Presents Newcomer of the Year Award Tuesday, October 31st , 2056 The debut season of Thunder Bay's left fielder Mark Morgan was capped off today with the announcement that he has been crowned the 2056 Menard's Third League Newcomer of the Year Award winner. Here are his season stats: 108 games played, a .324 average, 125 hits, 6 home runs, 20 walks and a .361 on-base percentage. Morgan also drove in 46 runs and scored 36 times. Alex Hann of the Santa Catalina Condor finished second in voting, while Manuel Gómez of the Colorado Billy Goats finished third. |
