Eric Thiel Wins 3L Trophy Monday, September 25th , 2056 26-year-old Eric Thiel sent shock waves through Menard's Third League last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Menard's Third League Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Thiel made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .444 average, 12 hits in 27 at-bats, 2 home runs and 7 runs batted in. Where the Buckhead Bowties center fielder goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Thiel certainly made his mark last week.
