Leviathan George King Down and Out for Year

The season is ending on a bad note for George King, reliever for the Nova Scotia Leviathan. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. King was hurt against the Echo Park Lakers while throwing a pitch. He suffered elbow inflammation and will be out for at least 6 weeks.
This year King has chalked up a 1.17 ERA with 1 save. In 19 relief appearances he has put up a 0-0 won-lost mark and struck out 23 batters in 15.1 innings.
