Great Stroke: Okel Gets 5 Hits Thursday, August 24th , 2056 Nova Scotia Leviathan center fielder Gavin Okel banged out 5 hits today, but it was not enough to keep his club from succumbing to the Charleston Battery, 6-4. He went 5-for-5 and raised his batting average a few points. "If the hits keep coming," an upbeat Okel said after the game, "the runs will too. And, more importantly, so will the wins." Gavin Okel singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Luis Gutiérrez in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
